Dip Ed. Psych., Assoc. MAPS Principal Psychologist Kirsty has over twelve years experience in working with children with developmental differences, and their families. Kirsty has worked delivering intensive behaviour intervention for children with developmental delays, and has provided psychological services in Early Childhood Intervention Services (ECIS), and in specialist primary school settings. Kirsty has a particular interest in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and in providing parent support and counselling in this area, including two years as the Family Counsellor at Autism Victoria. Kirsty is trained in the assessment and diagnosis of ASD using the ADI-R and ADOS-G. Kirsty has experience in facilitating parent groups, running anxiety management and social skills groups, delivering seminars and workshops, and mentoring other professionals. Julia Seedsman B.A., Post Grad Dip Applied Psychology Psychologist Julia has over twelve years experience working with children, adolescents and adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, their families and/or carers. Julia has worked providing behavioural intervention programs in private practice, Early Childhood settings and in the home. Julia has a particular interest in providing parent support and counselling, including ten years as the CEO/Principal Psychologist at Autism Behavioural Intervention Association, seven years as a Family Counsellor for Autism Victoria and two years in Private Practice. Julia has experience facilitating parent groups, running anxiety management and social skills groups and delivering seminars and workshops. Sophie Newton B.B.Sc. Administrator Sophie has an undergraduate degree in psychology. She has had 14 years experience in administration in children's services. Sophie has also had experience volunteering in educational agencies for children with disabilities. |
